December 11, 2024 . In spite of a raging rain and windstorm, a wonderful Holiday luncheon was held at the Portsmouth Library this year. Named a "Small bites, sharing lunch", amazing food was created and brought by all. Gary Gump, spouse of Jan, was thanked for his years of partnering to help on club projects, especially the refurbishing and storage of the memorial club bench donated to the library. Spouse David Goetzinger, husband of Carrol, was also recognized for the same generous help but could not attend.
A swap of gift, a 90th anniversary club history bingo created by historians Ann Turley and Rochelle Kieron, a new member induction and the preparation of cards for the Veterans home added fun activities to the afternoon. VP Ileene Chernoff did and amazing job, coordinating the event and creating the table and "venue" decorations.
