March 12, 2025- Presenter Linda Hall a master gardener with 1,000 volunteer hours and a member of the RI Native Plant Society spoke on native plants, In addition to indentation and information of the seasonal array of flowers we should have for butterflies and hummingbirds in the garden, she gave tips on propagating them. She has spent years volunteering doing this with a committee of society members creating plants for their annual plant sales.
Karen saucier showed a linear mass arrangement made by Linda Kirkpatrick in advance of our next design class. Suzann Ballard gave tips on getting houseplants adjusted to the season daylight savings time change. Ileene Chernoff delighted the group with corned beef, hot cross buns and St. Patrick day cookies for our refreshments.

MARCH 13, 202-Six members attended the RIFGC Education Environmental Day in Cranston. Speakers included Jim Donahue of The Newport Preservation Society, Mary Gannon, chief biologist from RI DEM, and sustainability created arrangements by Judy Gray and Blakley Szosz.
